Born Samuel David Williams in Gallatin, TN Sammy now lives on the Highland Rim in Bethpage, TN just 12 miles north east of Gallatin. One can hear the Memphis influence from the 15 years he spent playing the clubs and bars in the river city. Sammy now plays mainly in the Hendersonville and Nashville area and has been for the past 10 years.

Such number as "Into The Night" and "Long Delta Lady" were alternately thoughtful and amusing, while "Don't Touch Me" was his commentary on how AIDS has affected the bar/singles scene and "Boogie Baby a straightfoward blues and dance tune.
